25th April 2025 | Mid Herts GC | Match (v Mid Herts GC)

The 2025 Old Albanian Golf Society year began once again with our match against Mid Herts GC. Determined to put out as strong a team as possible to avenge our defeats over the past 2 years, a change of date, administrative confusion and a late illness threw our plans into disarray!

Eventually a team was put together, including two OA’s who had recently had knee and hip replacements, and battle commenced.

Unfortunately we lost again, but the score was a slight improvement on 2024 being 2.5 to 1.5 to the hosts. The half was due to the play of new member Keith Bowyer (OA74) and the unbelievable handicap increase of Mike Hodge (OA65), a saga on its own!
